It didn’t use to be this extreme, did it?
If you’re a little older, you probably feel the same way.
Back in my teens and twenties, summers were hot—but after an evening shower the air cooled down. We could enjoy festivals, go out for shaved ice, spend time at the pool… summer felt fun despite the heat.
But since around 2012 in Japan, summers have become unbearably hot—so hot you can’t even step outside.
Weather control? Cutting down forests for solar panels? Pollution?
In the past, people feared nature and held rituals to prevent disasters. Today, we seem to take the Earth for granted—wasting, polluting, forgetting respect.
I want to live in a way that’s kinder to our planet.
That’s why I created this T-shirt with a message: wishing for a better environment, even if it’s just a small gesture. Don’t worry—it’s made only when ordered, so in a way it’s eco-friendly. And once it’s worn out, you can still use it as a cleaning rag.
