My favorite anime on Netflix, The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.
In episode 23, Kaido invited his friends to the Halloween party but they are not wearing any costumes. The scene when Hairo and Allen brought Japanese Kabocha pumpkins as a gift cracked me up. (The whole episode is just funny though)
Japanese pumpkin is green and it actually tastes good. I tried to eat an American orange one but the texture was totally different from what I know of the Japanese ones. I tried baking the seeds and ate but wasn’t sure if I cook right.
We eat pumpkin on the day of the winter solstice to wish for good luck for money and good health.
