High cholesterol.
Thick, sluggish blood.
I want to do something about it.
I don’t hate exercise, but I don’t move around much—I know I should.
I wanted to try something natural that seems good for the body, so I gave it a shot.
I recently tried onion peel tea after hearing about its amazing health benefits — it’s said to strengthen capillaries, improve blood circulation, increase good cholesterol (HDL), and reduce bad cholesterol (LDL). Sounds too good to ignore!
Although it’s something you can make at home, I found pre-made onion tea at a Korean supermarket and gave it a try.
To my surprise, it had a mild and pleasant flavor — very easy to drink.
If you’re curious about making it yourself, here’s how:
- Wash the onion skins (preferably from organic onions)
- Let them dry for half a day
- Simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes
I’ve also heard that eating raw onions is especially good for your blood, though personally I don’t eat them raw very often. Instead, I regularly use onions in cooking — sautéed, simmered, or added to all kinds of dishes. They’re definitely a staple in my kitchen!
🧼 Good flow = good health, good life
Just thinking about thick, sluggish blood gives me the chills—sounds like something out of a villain story!
But it reminded me: flow matters in everything. In people, in air, in nature.
When flow is blocked, things build up—like sludge in nature, or dust in forgotten corners of the house.
Just like our bodies need circulation, our homes need it too.
I looked around my room today and saw:
- A bottle of sunscreen in the wrong place
- A roll of ribbon I bought for a craft I never started
- A half-read book waiting for me
It’s all little stuff, but it made me feel a little stuck inside.
So… time to get moving. Time to clean, refresh, and let things flow again. 🌿✨
