On September 26 in Los Angeles — September 27 in Japan — we welcome a Full Moon in Aries.
This Full Moon is also the Harvest Moon, the Full Moon closest to the autumn equinox.
And “harvest” is a perfect word for this moment.
In astrology, Full Moons are often associated with culmination, realization, and seeing the results of something that began earlier.
So let’s go back about six months.
The Aries New Moon took place on April 17, 2026.
Do you remember what you were doing around that time?
Did you start something new?
Make a decision?
Set a goal?
Decide that something in your life needed to change?
You may have completely forgotten by now. I often do.
Look through your calendar, old photos, journal entries, text messages, or even your browser history. You might be surprised by what you were thinking about six months ago.
The question now is:
What happened to the seeds you planted then?
Some may have grown exactly as you hoped.
Some may still be struggling.
And some may have taught you that the original plan was not right for you after all.
That realization is also a kind of harvest.
Aries and Libra: What Do I Want?
Every Full Moon is an opposition between the Sun and the Moon.
This time, the Moon is in Aries while the Sun is in Libra.
Aries represents the self: desire, independence, instinct, initiative.
Libra represents relationships, compromise, balance, and the needs of others.
So this Full Moon may bring attention to the balance between:
What do I want?
and
What does everyone else expect from me?
Maybe you have been accommodating other people so much that you are no longer sure what you want.
