I had some stuff to buy at Wholefoods in Redondo Beach, and since I was bored and lacked exercise, I decided to walk along the beach.
I parked my car on the road to go to the promenade between Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach. Hermosa Beach is always a difficult place to park. It was still in the morning, so I didn’t have much trouble finding a parking spot.
Going down the hill.
There are also many vacation houses.
By the way, after I moved to Tokyo when I was 13 years old in Japan, I have always enjoyed wandering around the city center even by myself. My favorite courses in Tokyo were from Nippori Station to Ueno via Yanaka, or from Shibuya to Harajuku via NHK.
I haven’t taken many walks since I came to America, but I feel like I’m in a meditative state when I take a walk by myself. I’m a little embarrassed that I’m a bit of a loner, but I guess it’s because my worries get in the way. I used to walk without a care in Japan.
People cycling like this.
They also have Halloween decorations.
There was a small open space, so I took a break in the shade. After that
I went to Hermosa Beach Pier, which I’m not sure how long it’s been since I’ve been there. There were two surfers. They took so long to catch a wave. There were also fishing people.
